Worship
What can I expect?
Here at Centreville UMC, we describe our worship as laid-back traditional. This means that we have the classic United Methodist worship elements such as hymns, piano, prayers, choir, and monthly Communion.
Services last around an hour with snacks and time to chat and hang out with each other afterwards.
Our worship is far from stuffy. You can expect laughter and a relaxed atmosphere. The sermons are grounded in the Bible with a focus on how you can apply it to your own life. Common themes are the love and grace of God, and our call out into the world to share the love and hope we have in Jesus.
There is no dress code for worship. We believe that it is easier to connect with God in worship if you are comfortable, so you can leave your tie and dress-shirts behind if you want to.
Where are we?
CUMC is located on Highway 86 in the beautiful city of Centreville, MI. We have two parking lots, one just behind the church and another to the east.
There are stairs that lead up to the main entrance, and a wheelchair ramp is available by the other door.
